Psychiatry Inpatient Dynamic Director
Dynamic Director of Inpatient Psychiatry is sought for our 20-bed short term Adult Unit at Bassett Medical Center in beautiful Cooperstown, NY. The successful applicant will have proven leadership ability and prior inpatient experience. Interest in teaching is a plus. Responsibilities will include redesign of Inpatient work flow, supervision of psychiatric and mid-level provider staff, and direct patient care. On call is 1 in 7 or better.
The inpatient unit is an integral part of The Department of Psychiatry which includes inpatient, outpatient, C/L and crisis divisions. Education of medical residents and Columbia-Bassett medical students is a shared responsibility of the Psychiatric group.
