Internal Medicine - Prime Care

Bassett Healthcare, a progressive health care network in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking an Internist to join its Division of General Internal Medicine. Cooperstown, “America’s favorite village”, offers an abundance of year round recreational and cultural activities including the National Baseball Hall of Fame, the Glimmerglass Opera, and the New York Historical Association/Fenimore Art Museum. 

The position is primarily outpatient oriented with opportunities for inpatient/attending activity. Call responsibilities are modest. With a faculty appointment from Columbia, there is daily interaction with medical students as well as Internal Medicine and Transitional residents.

Candidates must be BC-BE with a strong interest in clinical teaching as well as General Internal Medicine and/or Geriatrics.
