Orthopedics - Physician Assistant (Oneonta, NY)

The BASSETT MEDICAL CENTER, a multi-specialty, rural academic medical center based in Central NY, is seeking a full-time physician assistant to provide patient care for our Division of Orthopedics at one of our affiliate location, A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital.

There are 13 surgeons and 14 physician assistants in the Division of Orthopedics collaboratively providing care across the region. Several of the surgeons have fellowship training in subspecialties including total joint arthroplasty, shoulder and upper extremity, sports medicine and spine. The qualified candidate will have clinic, inpatient and surgical assisting responsibilities in one of our Oneonta facilities. There are no surgical residents working in the Division of Orthopedics.

Candidates must possess national certification as a Physician Assistant. Previous experience in orthopedics and/or general surgery preferred but not essential. We offer competitive base salary, comprehensive benefits package, CME, and much more.
